When fully grown, the Caribbean Grackles can attain a length of 10.3 inches and weigh between 2 and 5 ounces. When in flight, their wingspan can reach up to 18 inches. The beaks of Caribbean Grackles are strong, and their eyes are a bright golden color. These sense organs are used to track down their prey. Worms, snails, grubs, and insects are among the foods they hunt. Quiscalus Lugubris is the scientific name for the Caribbean Grackles (blackbirds). Generally, the male blackbirds are easier to find than the female blackbirds.
